DISTINCTIVE FEATURES

Info in a Nutshell

The name reflects the aim: EUCONTACT AT HOME IN EUROPE.

As EUCONTACT, we stand out of the crowd by our internationality and interdisciplinary competences, that enable us, on the one hand, to provide bespoke, hands-on training on developing and implementing innovative, cross-national project concepts, funded by the EU, and, on the other hand, enable us to actively participate in European consortia, as Lead or Partner, that work together to put in practice these innovative concepts.

Our innovative projects are placed at the intersection between the EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL AREA and EUROPEAN LABOUR MARKET, either by using European funding, accessed through European bids and tenders or without European funding.

Sector-specific language courses and seminars in hybrid delivery mode (online & in person) add to our outstanding profile.

Detailed Info

Internationality

We are what we do: international. Not only do we work at international level, we are international: as our members of staff originate from different European countries, not only do we have an excellent command of our project partners´ native language, we also know their country-specific mentality, their culturally-rooted strengths and weaknesses.

Interdisciplinarity

The members of our team, thanks to their long-term international activity, have an interdisciplinary-oriented education and not the limited „tunnel vision“.

Every member of staff has a portfolio of versatile competences, ranging from the comprehensive knowledge of the national history and mentality of the respective European country we operate in, of its native language to strategies, project development and project implementation at transnational level, with and without European funding.

In addition to the above, our members of staff have long-term experience with the development and implementation of WORD-STORM language courses, in online delivery mode, within the framework of our project schemes EUMATCHING  and EDUMATCHING .

Comprehensive knowledge of innovative topics at EU level, ranging from VOCATIONAL EDUCATION and labour market, over the medical and IT area to CLEAN ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION complete our distictive features.

We are at home in Europe and we know the European Labour Market

EUCONTACT can offer and implement European, cross-national solutions, meant to reduce disparities on the national labour markets and educational systems for OCCUPATIONS WITH SKILLED LABOUR SHORTAGE in structurally developed countries in the following sectors: Health and Care, ICT, Hospitality and Catering and technical occupations, for example in the metal and electrical & electronic industry.

Our team from EUCONTACT develops and puts into practice projects that make use of the EUROPEAN LABOUR MARKET in an INNOVATIVE manner: on the one hand, our projects enhance the employability prospects of young people, originating from structurally underdeveloped EU regions by facilitating their placement in structurally highly developed EU regions, struggling with skills shortage; on the other hand, we reduce the shortage of skilled labour force in these regions, based in developed European countries.

In achieving this, EUCONTACT makes use of milestone achievements of the EUROPEAN UNION, notably of the FREE MOVEMENT OF EUROPEAN CITIZENS in the labour market and of the EU´S UNBUREAUCRATIC structures, such as lack of WORK PERMIT VISA and of RESIDENCY PERMIT when working in another EU country.

This enables cross-national staff development and talent attraction in occupations with hard-to-fill-vacancies / HFV, with a striking MISMATCH between the offer of available joung people, searching for a job to no avail in structurally underdeveloped European regions and the demand of labour force for occupations with HFV in structurally developed European regions in the SINGLE EUROPEAN MARKET. This is put into practice by means of our product line, called EUMATCHING

We are at home in Europe and we know the European Educational Area

With the non-bureaucratic trait of our projects, we contribute, at a practical level, to strengthening the European educational policy in the initial vocational education and training / IVT by developing and implementing cross-national educational projects between VET providers, based in structurally underdeveloped European regions, featuring an excess of young job seekers, with poor to none career prospects and companies/public institutions, based in structurally developed European regions, struggling with skilled labour shortage / hard-to-fill vacancies / HTV.

In our project development work, we comply with the targets defined by the European Commission and the European Parliament, aiming at forging the EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL AREA, such as: recognition of competences acquired abroad throughout mobility phases, documented by means of the EUROPASS MOBILITY instrument; focus on the development of training contents, relevant for the modern labour market, by observing the CEDEFOP SKILLS PANORAMA instrument; internationalisation of VET providers, based in weakly developed European regions.

This is put into practice by our multiyear, cross-ntional vocational educational strategy, materialised through our product line, called EDUMATCHING

We are at home in Europe, knowing and using well the European funding programmes

We are Trainers, Capacity Builders and Project Partners (as Consortium Lead / Partner) within European , cross-national consortia within project funded by the EU.

We provide bespoke, hands-on training on accessing European funding – both bid/project development, as well as project implementation within the framework of funding programmes, from ERASMUS+ and up to other EU funding programmes, such as HORIZON EUROPE and DIGITAL EUROPE

see the paragraph 2. WHAT WE DO Subsections: Capacity Building to access EU Funds & European Project Management within the Framework of the ERASMUS+ and the RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT Programmes – Participation in European Consortia as Consortium Lead or Consortium Member (Sheer Partner).

Our training sessions lead to Capacity Building of our target group with regard to accessing EU funding and European Project Management to implement such EU-funded projects, stressing the principle of Authorship of the bids developed, at the level of the trained institutions.

At institutional level, our Training and Capacity Building activities benefit our target group, who are public & private VET / FET Training Providers, private Companies & other Public Institutions (e.g. Health Care Institutions), based in various EU countries, interested in building an international, European Educational / Labour Market Strategy.

We are practically involved in putting into practice our ideas by operating as Project Partners (as Consortium Lead / Partner) within European , cross-national consortia within project funded by the EU.

These activities are put into practice by our product line on strategies to access EU funding and implement EU-funded projects, called EU-FUNDING-BIDS .
